Fair Use Policy

1. Introduction

Loyaltify is committed to providing a reliable and efficient loyalty management system for all customers. To ensure fair usage and maintain platform performance, we have established transaction limits based on subscription plans. This Fair Use Policy (FUP) outlines these limits and how overages are handled.

2. What Counts as a Transaction?

A transaction is counted each time one of the following actions occurs:

  • A new customer registers for the loyalty program
  • A purchase action is recorded in the system
  • A reward redemption is processed

These limits are calculated based on real usage data from a wide range of businesses across different industries. For reference, 99% of our customers stay within these limits without exceeding their plan's allocation.

4. Annual Plan Transaction Calculation

If a store subscribes to an annual plan, its transaction limit is calculated on a yearly basis instead of monthly. This means that transactions are pooled for the year, allowing for flexibility—stores can have higher usage in some months and lower in others without being charged for overages unless they exceed the total yearly limit.

5. Overages & Additional Charges

If a store exceeds its transaction limit, additional transactions will be billed as follows:

  • €10 + VAT per additional 5,000 transactions

For monthly plans, overages are calculated at the end of each billing cycle.
For annual plans, overages are calculated at the end of the 12-month period based on the total transaction count for the year.

If you consistently exceed your plan's transaction limit, we recommend upgrading to a higher tier to avoid recurrent overage fees and ensure your usage remains cost-effective.

6. Enterprise Plan Customization

Enterprise customers requiring more than 100,000 transactions per month (or 1,200,000 per year for annual plans) may request higher limits based on a custom agreement with Loyaltify. Please contact our sales team to discuss tailored solutions for your business.

7. Monitoring & Notifications

To help you stay within your plan's transaction limit, we will:

  • Provide real-time transaction tracking in your dashboard
  • Send email notifications when you approach or exceed your limit

8. Policy Compliance & Updates

This Fair Use Policy ensures fair access to our platform and prevents excessive strain on our system. Loyaltify reserves the right to update this policy as needed. Customers will be notified of any changes in advance.
